ChildCare EasyPay Commitment to Privacy Protection
Protecting the security and privacy of your personal information is important to ChildCare EasyPay, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinpoint Pty Ltd ABN 49 002 693 656, and to the way we conduct our business in compliance with laws on privacy, data protection and data security.
ChildCare EasyPay understands the importance to its clients and to their customers of the discreet and confidential handling of their personal information. It is ChildCare EasyPay' policy to comply with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles as indicated in clause 10 of your agreement.
The policy outlined below will help you understand what information ChildCare EasyPay may collect, how we use and safeguard that information.
Personal Information
Generally, ChildCare EasyPay will not collect your personal information unless it is obtained directly from you or your ChildCare centre. The ChildCare EasyPay website will not collect any personal information about you (e.g., your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address), unless you or your ChildCare centre voluntarily choose to provide it to us (e.g., by registration as a participant in the ChildCare EasyPay program).
When you do provide us with your personal information, we usually use it to respond to your inquiries and for purposes made known to you and to which you have consented.
If you choose not to have your personal information used in the manner above (including direct-marketing or market-research), we will respect your choice. We do not now (and do not intend to) sell, rent or otherwise market your personal information to third parties.
Data security
ChildCare EasyPay prides itself on the sophistication of its data security systems, networks and procedures having met rigorous audit requirements of KPMG, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers. All databases maintained by ChildCare EasyPay are protected by secure network links, which are complemented by firewalls, hardware and software encryption, password protection, virus protection and internal quality procedures.
Industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption enforced with hardware based encryption provides confidentiality of sensitive data transmitted between your internet browser and the ChildCare EasyPay website.
Penetration tests are conducted on a regular basis by independent security auditors on the ChildCare EasyPay environment. These auditors work together with our IT security team and our clients to ensure that the environment is highly secure.
It is our policy not to store sensitive data on web servers. Sensitive customer information is transmitted over a secure network connection and stored in highly secured data warehousing facilities.
Various security devices, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems have been implemented to guard against unauthorised access at the perimeter. Complementing systems such as anti-virus systems, virtual private networks (VPN), and other encryption technologies, together with security policies and procedures, ensures a high level of security.

Our policy is to maintain accurate, complete and up to date personal information.
